Handbook for Ongoing Lay Dominican Formation

For over a century, lay Dominicans – part of the Order of Preachers – have spent their time in quiet devotion. With the changes in the turbulent 1960s, the rise of the Postmodern Worldview, and the declining numbers of religious, lay Dominicans are now called upon to step up out of their comfort and take on the task of co-responsibility for the doctrinal mission of the Order – preaching. Ongoing Formation is a part of lay Dominican life and the need for change to a serious theological-based formation is suddenly made urgent to bring the Word of God and His hope to the secular world.
